Coldplay have mapped out an extensive tour for next summer, including stadium shows in both North America and Europe.
In particular, the North American leg spans 18 shows kicking off August 1st at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The itinerary also promises the band’s first Canadian shows in five years.
Update – February 17th: AlunaGeorge, Tove Lo, and Mew have been tapped to serve as the tour’s support acts.
Update – March 20th: Coldplay have confirmed a new show at Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl as well as additional dates in Edmonton and Toronto.
The world tour, which also includes an Australian jaunt in December, comes in support of Coldplay’s latest album, A Head Full of Dreams.
