Everyone wants to be a hypebeast when it comes to the latest model of Kanye West’s Yeezy shoes. Many will wait in line for days for the hot release and even cough up thousands of dollars on eBay. Jimmy Kimmel hit the streets of Los Angeles recently to test the knowledge and loyalty of some of these self-described “huge fans” by presenting them with a fake pair of Yeezys, which were atrociously outfitted with faux fur and a compass.
Further proving that America is comprised of gullible folks who are eager to please and desperate to seem cool, each and every one of them fell for the phony kicks without even batting an eye. Most praised the “Yeezy Boost 2000s” for their “attractive” and “different” design. I can believe in a solar red stripe, but a compass? A COMPASS?!
Check out the ridiculous yet clever bit of trolling up above.
PS. Kanye, if you’re reading this, Alex Young and I would each like a pair of the solar red/beluga V2s. No compasses, please.https://youtu.be/jK2HYtMSxMQ
