Rivers Cuomo and Pusha T join Zeds Dead on new song “Too Young” — listen

G.O.O.D. Music president and Weezer frontman team with EDM duo

In today’s story of unlikely bedfellows, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and G.O.O.D. Music chief rapper Pusha T have collaborated with Canadian EDM duo Zeds Dead on a new track. Entitled “Too Young”, it’s taken from the electronic act’s forthcoming LP, Northern Lights, due out October 14th via Deadbeats.

“Too Young” may be the poppiest thing Zeds Dead has ever released, with a bouncy, violin-punctuated beat sounding like “The Sweet Escape”-era Gwen Stefani and carrying a positive message for millennials. Pusha takes over the verses (“Takin’ selfies in the mirror/ Get the angle, make it clearer/ That ain’t perfect, girl/ Ain’t no perfect world/ Why we takin’ life so serious?”), while Cuomo runs on the chorus (“Girl, you’re too young/ Don’t give up on life/ Don’t, don’t stop believing”).

Check it out below.

Other guests on Northern Lights include Twin Shadow, Diplo and Elliphant, Jadakiss and more.
