Donald Trump calls Hamilton “overrated,” SNL “one-sided” in latest batch of rage tweets

When tweeting about Broadway musicals and comedy sketch shows takes precedence over putting together a cabinet

President-elect Donald Trump is supposed to be putting together his cabinet. However, throughout the weekend, he’s been stewing on his golden throne, thinking of the perfect way to hit back at American democracy’s greatest threat: the cast of Hamilton. Since the cast respectfully addressed Vince President-elect Mike Pence on Friday night, our future president has fired off not one, not two, not three, but four tweets in which he criticized the cast for harassing Pence and failing to provide him with a safe space. His latest Hamilton-related tweet came Sunday morning at 6:22 a.m. “The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior,” Trump rage tweeted.

Update: For what it’s worth, Pence said he was not offended by the Hamilton cast’s speech. Appearing on CBS’s Face the Nation on Sunday, he called the production “incredible,” adding, It was real joy to be there.”

Not long after, President-elect Trump turned his attention to Saturday Night Live. “I watched parts of SNL last night. It i a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all,” he griped. “Equal time for us?”

Come January 20th, this thin-skinned buffoon will have his hands on the nuclear codes. God help us all.
