Giorgio Moroder made his career on Casablanca Records in the late ’70s with his work on Donna Summer’s I Remember Yesterday and Bad Girls, as well as his own albums like From Here to Eternity and E=MC². Four decades later, the electronic music maestro is making his return to Casablanca with his latest single “Good For Me”.
The track is a wonderfully modern piece of electronic dance pop, bubbly and bright with an infectious groove. Rising British singer Karen Harding provides the vocals for the cut, delivering a complete earworm of a hook as she sings, “Sometimes it feels like you’re too good for me.” Take a listen below
“Good For Me” follows Moroder’s 2015 LP, Déjà Vu, which marked his first album in 23 years. He’s expected to release more music on Casablanca sometime next summer. “I am so excited to share new music with you and to work with the Casablanca family,” he said in a statement, adding, “It just makes sense. It feels like home.”
