Experimental musician Julia Holter is at the helm of the new score for Bleed For This, an upcoming biopic about former world champion boxer Vinny Paz. Today, she’s previewing that collection of music with an uplifting number titled “Vinny’s Triumph”, which can be streamed below.
“The first time I heard Julia Holter’s voice was in a rental car driving on La Brea listening to Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW,” Bleed For This director Ben Younger recalled in a statement. “It was one of those moments when you know you will love a song three notes in. You just know. I ran straight back to my friend’s house where I was staying, downloaded the album, hit the repeat button and wrote all morning while that song played.”

In addition to Holter, Willis Earl Beal and George Michael contributed a handful of songs to the soundtrack, which arrives via digital retailers November 18th, the same day the film opens in theaters. Holter’s last full-length was 2015’s excellent Have You In My Wilderness.
