At this time last month, Kid Cudi was in rehab, having checked himself in for depression and suicidal thoughts. On Saturday evening, he was back out and making his first public performance since seeking help. The Cleveland rapper appeared at Long Beach’s ComplexCon, where he was joined on stage by Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott.

“I’m overwhelmed,” Cudi told the crowd halfway through his set (via Billboard). “Y’all gonna make me cry and shit.” He brought out Scott and Williams for “Surfin'”, “Through the Late Night”, and “Way Back”, while the rest of the set included tracks like “The Frequency”, “Erase Me”, and “Pursuit of Happiness”. “This right here is dedicated to all the fucked up kids like me,” he said before appropriately going into “Mr. Rager”.

Cudi didn’t address the feuds he sparked prior to entering rehab. While it seems his beef with Kanye West has been squashed, but his remarks about Drake have spurred replies from Big Sean, Lupe Fiasco, and Drizzy himself.
