While everyone else can’t wait for 2016 to end, Bill Murray has enjoyed a banner year. Whether bartending at his son’s bar in Brooklyn or helping his beloved Chicago Cubs celebrate their World Series win, Murray is clearly living his best life these days. So maybe we shouldn’t be so surprised that he dropped by a Lupe Fiasco concert in Austin, Texas, and had a heart-to-heart with the Chicago rapper backstage. According to a tweet posted by Fiasco, Murray demanded an encore after the performance but also left him with “some amazing words of encouragement.” As we look wearily towards 2017, may we all be so blessed as to receive such words from the man, the myth, the legend.
