Bonobo and Rhye’s Milosh team for new song “Break Apart” — listen

Taken from Bonobo's first LP in almost four years, Migration

Simon Green, the UK-born producer behind Bonobo, is gearing up to release a new album called Migration. Due out January 13th via Ninja Tune, the LP marks his sixth overall following 2013’s The North Borders. Its 12 tracks count guests in Hundred Waters singer Nicole Miglis, Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker), and Milosh, one half of R&B outfit Rhye.

To tease the record, Green has shared his Milosh collaboration “Break Apart” today. It’s a low-key yet soothing number, not unlike Rhye’s own velvety output. “I’m so happy Simon asked me to work on this song with him,” Milosh noted in a statement. “From the moment I heard the instrumental track it spoke to me more than I can express in words. Being able to work with an artist that continuously makes me envious, like Simon, is where I always want to be.”
