Last night, Car Seat Headrest took some time off from collecting year-end accolades to perform a new version of their sprawling hit single “Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Frontman Will Toledo, who used to be the sole member of Car Seat Headrest, has come a long way from his days of bedroom recording. Not only did he have his own band backing him up on the late-night stage, but members of The Roots joined in on horns and organs to give the six-minute song the kind of orchestral feel it deserves.

Check out the performance above, and see where Car Seat Headrest’s breakout album Teens of Denial landed on our list of the Top 50 Albums of 2016.
