Chance the Rapper steals the show on SNL’s Christmas episode — watch

Chicago's finest performs "Finish Line/Drown" with Noname and "Same Drugs" with Francis and the Lights, plus parodies Run-DMC’s "Christmas in Hollis"

Chance the Rapper capped off his banner year by appearing as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live’s annual Christmas episode. Our 2016 Artist of the Year supported his Album of the Year contender, Coloring Book, by performing “Finish Line” with fellow Chicago MC Noname and “Same Drugs” with Francis and the Lights.

He also starred in a pair of sketches, including a parody of Run-DMC’s “Christmas in Hollis”. Alongside Keenan Thompson and Leslie Jones, Chance (playing DMC) celebrated Barack Obama’s final Christmas in office and everything we’ll miss about his presidency. Near the end of the sketch, the real-life DMC made a cameo.

Later, he played one of the Three Wise Men in a sketch about a low-rent Christmas production.
