Don’t look now, but Spain’s becoming the hotbed for incredible music festivals. We’re all well aware of Barcelona’s Primavera Sound, but just a month later, the Mad Cool Festival goes down in Madrid. Its 2017 lineup is — for a lack of better words — mad cool with acts including Foo Fighters, Green Day, Kings of Leon, Wilco, Ryan Adams, Belle and Sebastian, Röyksopp, Alt-J, Rancid (!), Dinosaur Jr., Kurt Vile, Warpaint, and Wolf Alice, among others. But perhaps most notably is the presence of Spoon, which marks their first announced performance in over a year.
Mad Cool Festival goes down July 6th – 8th at Caja Mágica in Madrid. Tickets are available through the festival’s website.
