Along with one of the best songs of the year, the ever-prolific Future took 2016 by storm with a new album (EVOL), new mixtape (Purple Reign), and collaborative projects with longtime producer DJ Esco and Gucci Mane. The Atlanta MC has stayed hustling even in the days leading up to 2017; he dropped a fresh single “Buy Love” earlier this week, and today returns with a new song called “That’s a Check” featuring Rick Ross and its accompanying video.
As its title suggests, both the audio and visual component of “That’s a Check” are all about big bucks and the glitzy lifestyle that can be obtained when you’ve got such riches. There are Rolexes, bottles of fancy champagne, and other pricey accessories that you and I could only dream of owning. Check it out above.
