Christmas has come early for Grouper fans, as Liz Harris has just unveiled a surprise 7-inch titled Paradise Valley. The project comes with two new songs, “I’m Clean Now” and “Headache”, and represents Harris’ first Grouper release since the 2014 album Ruins. Ideal listening material for the winter solstice, both cuts make use of a sparse guitar and are cool, atmospheric in tone.

Listen to “I’m Clean Now” via Bandcamp below, followed by a music video for “Headache”.

Last year, Harris and her new dream pop outfit Helen put out their debut album, Original Faces.
