Louis C.K.’s Horace and Pete is coming to Hulu

Streaming service scores exclusive rights to the darkly comic web series

Hulu has scored exclusive streaming rights to Horace and Pete, the darkly comic web series for which Louis C.K. allegedly went into millions of dollars of debt. The Emmy-nominated show has since provided the comedian with a full return on his investment, and Hulu’s deal for all 10 episodes may convince him to keep following this model of self-funding.

Horace and Pete revolves around an Irish bar owned by friends Horace (C.K.) and Pete (Steve Buscemi). The show deals with many of the same themes C.K. tackled in his FX series Louie and features an all-star cast rounded out by Edie Falco, Alan Alda, Jessica Lange, Kurt Metzger, and Laurie Metcalf.
