Mike Patton has one of if not the greatest voice in rock, and he’s shared it with many a outfit. He’s fronted bands from Faith No More to Tomahawk to Nevermen, and now he’s got another gig to add to his long resumé.
Patton has joined Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox, Head Wound City), and Michael Crain (Retox, Festival of Dead Deer) in their new project Dead Cross. Gabe Serbian of The Locust and Head Wound City originally fronted the band, but he left for as yet unnamed reasons.
Dead Cross are currently in the studio working on their 2017 debut album coming from Ipecac Recordings. In the meantime, you can catch Lombardo all this week (December 12th-15th) as he sits in with Late Night with Seth Meyers house band.
