Nicki Minaj and Fetty Wap shine on new song “Like A Star” — listen

The "Side to Side" rapper likens herself to one of boxing's greatest competitors

Nicki Minaj turns 34 today, and what better way to celebrate than with a brand new song. The Pinkprint rapper has joined forces with Fetty Wap, dropping a couple of boastful lines on his fresh, island-flavored cut “Like A Star”.

“Who better than Nicki, man? I can’t effin’ tell/ Every time I drop, bitches like FML,” she says. Minaj is proud to flaunt her assets any day of the week, and her birthday is clearly no exception. Later, she even likens herself to one of boxing’s greatest: “I ain’t got no competition, so my price is up/ I’m the heavy champ, Mike Tyson’d up.”

“Like A Star” follows Minaj’s “Black Barbies”, a reworking of Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” hit, as well as guest features on tracks by Ariana Grande (“Side to Side”) and DJ Khaled (“Do You Mind”). Fetty Wap put out his Zoovier mixtape last month.
