Gone Is Gone is a new supergroup comprised of rock titans Troy Sanders (Mastodon), Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age), Tony Hajjar (At the Drive-In), and guitarist/keyboardist Mike Zarin. Following their self-titled summer EP, Gone Is Gone will return with full-length debut Echolocation on January 6th.
To preview that 12-track effort, the band has let loose a new song called “Dublin”. Pulling in elements of their previous singles, “Sentient” and “Gift”, the track is like a candle that burns steadily in an otherwise pitch-black room — it never rises above a whisper, but still has an eeriness about it that’ll leave listeners both a bit unnerved and curious.
