Talib Kweli raps about digital privacy on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee — watch

Featuring a reworked version of his 2003, Kanye West-produced track "Get By"

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee aired a funny segment this week called “Ms. Robot”. Led by one of the show’s writers, Ashley Nicole Black, the Mr. Robot parody critiqued the election of Donald Trump and the rise of the surveillance state. Talib Kweli showed up toward the end to deliver a reworked version of his Kanye West-produced “Get By” track featuring references to the importance of digital privacy and security.

“Lock your phone with a passcode/ Or what you’re downloading gets stolen/ Basically be the black Edward Snowden,” implored the MC, who is known for being an outspoken voice when it comes to social issues. Later, he closed with: “Get ready for Revenge of the Black Nerds.”

Replay it up above (Kweli’s rhymes come around the 5:45 mark).
