The Avalanches reemerged in 2016 with the release of their first album in 16 years, Wildflower. The electronic outfit subsequently promoted the album with appearances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Splendour in the Grass in their native Australia. Over the holidays, they’ll play more shows in Australia as part of the annual Falls Festival.
Now, The Avalanches have revealed plans for further festival appearances at next year’s Coachella and Glastonbury. The band detailed their 2017 touring plans in a series of since-deleted tweets that you can find screen captured below. They outright confirmed plans to play Coachella and Glastonbury next year, and also retweeted fans asking whether or not they would be playing Bonnaroo and Governors Ball.
