Following an Emmy-nominated performance on season two of Fargo, Kirsten Dunst has her next TV role lined up. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is teaming with Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos and George Clooney for a dark comedy called On Becoming a God In Central Florida.

The project is about the cult of free enterprise and one woman’s relentless pursuit of the American dream in the early ’90s. Dunst will play Krystal Gill, a minimum-wage Orlando water park employee who is recently widowed and has been left with nothing. She lies, schemes and cons her way up the ranks of Founders American Merchandise — the cultish, flag-waving, multibillion-dollar pyramid scheme that took her down in the first place.
Robert Funke and Matt Lutsky wrote On Becoming a God In Central Florida, with Lanthimos set to direct. Clooney and Grant Heslov’s Smokehouse Pictures will produce the series with Sony’s TriStar Television and AMC Studios.
The role marks Dunst’s second time as a TV series regular following her acclaimed performance on Fargo. Her most recent film, Hidden Figures, is currently in theaters.
