Young Dolph was shot multiple times outside a Hollywood sneaker store on Tuesday afternoon, according to TMZ. The 32-year-old rapper was taken to an area hospital where he is reportedly being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Update – September 26th at 9:30 p.m. CT: According to TMZ, Yo Gotti is a person of interest in the LAPD’s investigation. Both rappers were apparently staying at the same hotel and got into a disagreement. Witnesses at the scene told TMZ that Gotti was involved in the shooting, but that has not yet been confirmed by police.
Earlier this year, Young Dolph’s SUV was shot at over 100 times while he was in Charlotte, North Carolina. A rapper named Blac Youngsta, who is signed to Yo Gotti’s label, was subsequently arrested.
Update – September 28th at 10:05 a.m. CT: Corey McClendon, 43, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, according to The Associated Press. McClendon is believed to be an associate of Yo Gotti.
