At the start of last month, Crumb announced their debut full-length album, Jinx. Now, the Brooklyn-based, Boston-bred psychedelic pop act is previewing the LP with a new single called “Ghostride”.
Crumb’s latest song comes on the heels of “Part III” and “Nina”, both of which also appear on the 10-track collection. “Ghostride” is a dreamy and laidback composition, characterized by a hypnotic, cascading guitar loop and simple, propulsive drumbeat. Paired with Lila Ramani’s standout vocals, which range from delightfully monotonous to sincerely sentimental, the song builds and layers to create a hazy blend of jazz and psychedelic rock.
