Trying new things is great and all, but sometimes you just want to “Go Home!,” where it’s safe. Claud knows the feeling well, and they turn that homesickness into a fun little jaunt in their latest single.

“‘Go Home!’ is about falling into that hole of feeling awkward and uncomfortable in your own skin that all you crave is going home and sliding into whatever is familiar,” Consequence’s former Artist of the Month said in a statement. Despite its meaning, the single manages to be light and breezy thanks to some jovial glockenspiel and Claud’s comically cringeworthy imagery. “I don’t understand your references/ Your collegiate sentences/ Friends who talk theory when I thought this was a party,” the artist sings, instantly transporting you into the try-hard crowd they’re trying to escape from. Listen to “Go Home!” below.

Claud broke out last year with Super Monsterthe first album Phoebe Bridgers released on her label Saddest Factory. Revisit their track-by-track breakdown of the project here.
