Now they’ve expanded their initial outing with a full North American leg starting in November.

What Is The Smile’s Next Tour?

The Smile kicked off their first tour in May with an ongoing UK/European leg that stretches to the end of July and includes appearances at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival, Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival, and the final stop at London’s All Points East on August 28th.

The additional North American leg is no “Thin Thing” either; it spans 19 dates over the last two months of 2022 and covers both coasts and several cities in-between. The tour opens in Providence, Rhode Island on November 14th and circles the Northeast for shows in Boston, Brooklyn, New York City, Washington, DC, Montreal, and Toronto. Heading to the Midwest, the band plays in Detroit on November 28th, Milwaukee on November 29th, and Chicago on December 1st. They head south to Nashville, Atlanta, and New Orleans for the first week of December, then play Dallas on December 8th. Travelling west via Denver, The Smile wraps their North American leg with four performances in the coastal cities Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, and the closer in Los Angeles on December 21st.

Who Is Opening for The Smile on Tour?

There have been no openers announced at this time, but don’t expect this tour to lack any surprises; the band jumped out of the gate at their opening European date in Croatia with a fresh song, called “Friend of a Friend,” written right before the show, so really anything goes.

How Can I Get Tickets for The Smile’s 2022 Tour?

Tickets for the trio’s remaining European dates are available now, while access to the new North American shows begins as early as Wednesday, June 15 when an artist pre-sale opens for select dates via the band’s W.A.S.T.E. service. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, June 17th.
