On today’s episode of Rock it Out! Blog, Sami chats with Dr. Michael Nickens and Jeremy Freer, the director and associate director of the George Mason University Green Machine marching band. The band is responsible for a medley of Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing In The Name” and “Bulls On Parade”, which has since gone viral on the Internet.

During their conversation, they discuss the inspiration behind creating the medley, how rock songs can be turned into music for marching bands, other bands and artists that the Green Machine cover, and where you can see them perform.
