Calling all film lovers and music buffs! Welcome to another edition of Music at the Movies. We’re coming to you from our brand new home at the historic Music Box Theatre in Chicago, where you can catch some of the best independent, foreign, and classic films all year round.

This week, host Blake Goble starts things off with a brief history of electronic dance music in movies and how it’s been around a lot longer than we think. With soundtracks from Mortal Kombat, Trainspotting, and even A Clockwork Orange, the genre has been very influential in filmmaking That leads us into a discussion pertaining to Zac Efron’s EDM adventure film, We Are Your Friends.
