Mastodon is currently on tour to promote their forthcoming album, Once More Round The Sun, which is out on June 24th. Recently, the band performed at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre and Rock it Out! Blog host Sami Jarroush was there to catch up with drummer Brann Dailor and guitarist Bill Kelliher.
They discussed extensively about their new album and a variety of other topics, including Dailor’s days in fifth grade, who would play whom in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventures, why it’s difficult for Dailor to appreciate soccer, and much more. This conversation may not have a lot of structure but it does deliver on laughs and slightly awkward pauses. Enjoy!
