When you were a kid, did you dream of hanging with rock stars? Of being able to go backstage and talk to some of your heroes and the biggest names in the genre? Well on today’s Rock it Out! Blog, we speak with two girls who have skipped the dream part and made it their reality.
Sami chats with fellow music interviewers/7th graders Olivia Midnight and Connie Richards of the website KidsInterviewBands.com. They reveal how w they’ve managed to land interviews with major acts including Queens of the Stone Age, Slayer, Insane Clown Posse, and countless others. They also discuss whether or not they still get nervous before interviews, their dream interview, and whether they want to continue interviewing bands in the future.
