Rock it Out! Blog: Fight For Your Right … To Shoot Concerts

This week on RIO!B, the panel discusses exploitive photo contracts, Kim Kardashian's Rolling Stone cover, and DC Comics vs. Marvel

Welcome, rocker nation, to a brand new episode of Rock it Out! Blog. Every Friday, host Sami Jarroush rounds together an esteemed panel of critics, musicians, and comedians to discuss the week’s biggest headlines.

This week’s panel consists of comedians Sam Norton, Dave Helem, and Taneshia Rice. We begin by patching in Consequence of Sound News Editor Ben Kaye to discuss “exploitive” photo contracts from Foo Fighters and Taylor Swift that have caused some photographers to openly boycott their shows.

Also, we debate if Kim Kardashian deserved to be on the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone, and if the trailers for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad mean that DC Comics is finally ready to go head to head against Marvel at the movies.

We also bring you clips of stand-up sets from all three comedians that were filmed at JBTV studios for a series called Four Star Standups. Make sure to check out the full clips online.
