Last month the Rockstar Uproar Festival touched down in Tinley Park, IL with performances by Alice in Chains, Jane’s Addiction, and Coheed and Cambria, among others. In addition to Alice in Chains, Rock it Out! Blog host Sami Jarroush caught up with Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell for a brief interview.
The two discussed Jane’s new single, “Another Soulmate”, and plans for more music “within two years.” Farrell also promised new material from Porno For Pyros as well as house music done with his wife, Etty, for a play called Kind Heaven.
They also discussed the Lollapalooza Music Festival, its planned expansion in 2014, and and what it means to Farrell now that Jane’s Addiction is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
