Rock it Out! Blog: Who is the Last True Rock Star?

The panel debates Noel Gallagher's recent proclamation and other music headlines

Welcome rocker nation to a brand new episode of Rock it Out! Blog. Every Friday, host Sami Jarroush rounds together an esteemed panel of critics, musicians, and comedians to discuss the week’s biggest headlines.

This week, CoS contributor Leah Pickett and freelance writer Erin Vogel join the panel to discuss Noel Gallagher’s recent claim that he is “the last true rock star.” If not the Oasis guitarist, then who is?

They also talk about a recent study claiming there have only been three major music revolutions in the last 50 years, and which Hollywood should be the next to crossover on the silver screen.

Also, we head to Chicago’s own heavy metal burger joint, Kuma’s Corner, to get a look at their burger of the month for May, and we give you a sneak peek at next week’s segment that will show you how to become the next superstar DJ.
