Back in December, Canadian production outfit Zeds Dead played a two-night sold-out stint at Chicago’s Aragon Theater as part of their “Altered States” tour. Before their second show, Consequence of Sound correspondent Rachel Delehanty caught up with the duo of DC and Hooks to talk recent career happenings and all things EDM. Among the topics covered, they discuss how touring inspires their approach to writing and recording, how they’ve built a career on releasing free music, and what goes into becoming an EDM producer.
